I draw upon several theoretical orientations, the primary ones being Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Transactional Analysis Therapy (TAT), Gestalt Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a therapy that has been found to be effective for trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I also provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based therapy that has been proven to be successful in treating PTSD, trauma and other types of emotional disturbance. These approaches are grounded in research and have been found to be effective in creating positive results in therapy. I take the time to listen and understand you and your unique experiences as an individual.
